A decision that came in this week from West Virginia may lead to the legalization of smokable forms of medical marijuana. West Virginia legalized medical cannabis last year and looked towards the Medical Cannabis Advisory Board for policy and procedure. The board gathered at the University of Charleston last Tuesday to hear recommendations on how to proceed with a policy with advisors. At this moment it is prohibited to smoke medical marijuana. The discussion is around the use of cannabis, and if flower or dry form should be legal. The board left with a decision; that vaporizers are fine, but smoking should be illegal.
